  • fill & puckering

I'm getting a little bit of puckering on a fill where the design narrows. The density can not be any less as fabric starts to show through. Does the stitch length have any impact on the puckering. This will be sewn on satin, but have been practicing on a light weight cotton. Any thoughts?

    Details: fill 14
    density - 4
    Stitch length - 60
    partitions - 4 (0123)
    min st. length - 8
    pull comp - 100%
    Primary underlay: standar
    stitch lenght 24
    border margin 10 pt
    density 20 pt

    Thanks for your help,

The longer the stitch, the more the pull. Try shortening up the st length a bit. Or split the element and shorten only the narrow part and leave the larger part alone.

That's what I was thinking. I will try changing at least the area I'm getting some pull.

      Thank you,

      Terri
