  • Pricing for Caps

I need some suggestions please on pricing 100 caps to be embroidered with a logo on the front and two words on the back arch. They also were talking about a place to put their web address, but I think I convinced them it is a bit too long for the side. I have two XT's and the caps are low/unstructured. Oh, I forgot to mention it is also for my favorite brother-in-law.
    Thank you

This is the way I would price it.

    The cap - your cost x 2 + freight
the frnt design: $1/1000st ($5 min)
Add $3 for the back, but show that the undiscounted price would have been $5.

That is the normal price. Now that you have a starting point, give a discount of say 25% or whatever you want. The important thing is to let him know the reg price and that you, out of the goodness of your heart, are giving him a family discount. AND that this discount is just for him and will not apply to anyone else. But if his friends come to you because he sent them to you, then he will get some little thing - like maybe a special hat, but they will pay the full price. Lay everything one the table so there will be no surprises or hard feeling later.
