Been using one for 2 years and love it. Quick and easy to use. The guy that sells them from Texas also does our digitizing. Is fast and very good. You comunicate directly with him
I have one also and have been using it since July. I have no complaints, but have nothing to compare it to. I have sent a few designs for digitizing quotes to TEX inc. On one particular design his quote is half the amount of stitches compared to another digitizer. Being a newbie, I don't know what to make of that. I figured it wouldn't sew out as nice. The other digitizer also said it won't work on hats. Tex inc. didn't mention that. I haven't had to source out any digitizing until now so I don't have any experience in this. Any advice?
Do a search in the archives here and you'll see that every year your question pops up.
Those that have the All in One rave about them...those that have a Hoopmaster rave about IT!
Doesn't seem to be a meeting of the minds-I'd dare to say both do the job and it's like comparing Mac to PC...I'm a Macman to the end...don't like PCs, try not to use PC's...but that's me.
I have the All in Onc (AND Tex INc., Sal the owner) gives you a $100 discount I think if you tell him you are part of the Amaya group here-I arranged it a while back and he offered it to all the 'chatters'. He just sent out an email flyer that he has a complete 'used' one with all the artwork Cd's, etc. for a good deal-probably just one of his 'show' demo units.
I have also had him do some digitizing work-fast, efficient, and it worked great. He stands by his work and his products.
I will certainly vouch for Sal at Tex. Inc. Until I got enought experience to start doing my own digitizing I sent my designs to Sal. His designs always sew well on my Amaya. I just ordered his slightly used all in 1 hooper for half the price of a new one. I am used to the Hoop Master but it certainly has its limitations. I don't think it works very well on 2xx and larger items or on youth wear. The fact you have to buy a attachment of each size of hoop is a downer as well. SO... I am going to have one of each now. Once I start using it I will certainly chime in on what I think of it.
Another comment about Sal. I needed a design and asked for him to digitize it. His reply was it was on his free list. I hadn't even looked and he could have charged me. I probably wouldn't have noticed. He has done a few designs that I couldn't handle and they worked great. Margaret

Get ahold of Sal, he's the owner and if you are going to buy the All-in One, tell him you are part of the Amaya Users Group-I arranged a discount for everyone that is in the group, but you have to ask for it!
