  • carhartt jacket with a yoke in the way!

Hi all! I have a carhartt jacket to do with a left chest design but it has a seam right across where the center of my design should go, like a yoke. What should I do?
    Thanks!

I think I just read somewhere that if you have a shirt or jacket with a seam or yoke in the front, then the design goes above the seam. But I'd consult with your customer first!

I just did some Carhart jackets yesterday with the same seam across the front. I placed the design just above the "v" point, so that it would be about 1/4 inch above seam. The design I used was 2 x 2 inches and it looked great. A bigger design might not look as good though, as I think it would end up too high on the chest. Just my opinion, but my customer agreed that theirs looked great!!

I might be a little late here but if its the J14 which has the v shaped yoke on the front we put logos just above the yoke and usually center the design on the center ov the v.

This yoke is straight across. I ended up putting the design as close to the yoke as could. It looked ok. I would have preferred it be a little lower but then the design would have the yoke running thru part of the design?!
