Is there a way to move and restitch an element in a large design.....at the end of course....but I need to restitch and I have not removed from the machine yet. Can I do redo's without having to laser through the entire design?

Sure - you use the Settings, Move to Stitch (or Move to Color) and get to where you need to be.

then start the machine and stop it and reset the design once that element has sewn out

Yes...done it many times when we get an 'oops-wrong color thread!' or something else.
If the element is in a 'color needle' by itself-just go to (in your Amaya OS window you have open) SETTINGS, 'move' tab and you can 'move' to the right 'color' (needle # in sequence) or the exact stitch number- and when you press the green 'start' button-it goes to that needle 'color' sequence and sews. If you have different elements in the same color 'sequence' you can 'advance' through that to get to your element.
Easier than starting at the beginning and advancing through all of it!
Just remember...if this isn't your final color-it will CONTINUE after this color is done! SO be ready to STOP it. ALso,if you have to change to a different 'needle' for a different color-before you start to sew, you can use your keypad to move the needle head to the color you want.

If you want a voice to walk you through it, call us-my wife is setting up to run some jackets right now so she is sitting at the machine.
