  • Fatten up lettering?

I'm running Roman block, took out the slant so it's straight up. Size is .61 inch, and I have Column width to 140. Still not getting a good 'fat' letter-it's the company name (SPAULDING) all caps, across a 3.5" background. I need to get it almost double the stroke width to really stand out.
I don't have any other serif style font that is any bolder.

Have you adjusted the minimum stitch length? Default is .8 -- you could try 1.2.

      Barbara,

I believe the default is 8pts...not .8 ?? and go to 12pts...not 1.2??------.8 would be just over 3/4 inches....

Thanks, Rod, you're right of course. I guess my mind was stuck on decimals, and I should have opened the program to see what I was talking about. Happy Saturday!
