Jump Stitches

Dear List,
I have a design that is a six inch circle that is all fill. It is a seal for a tribe. There are a lot of jump stitches in this design leaving lots of criss crossing. I eleminated many of these jump stitches but when it went to sew out it came up with an X axis error. I realize they are to move the design to another space but how would I eliminate these without causing the error?

Can you change the entry and exit points of the fill? Another thought would be to eliminate the fill altogether and use applique for the circle (Stahl's poly tackle twill).
