Embroidery on Sweatbands

I have a request to do embroidery on sweatbands, which I have never done before. Has anyone done these before and can you give me any advice?
They are terrycloth/spandex. What size clamp did you use and what kind of settings would you recommend?

I did some wristbands once....stretch slightly, use same color tulle on top if possible. As always, use the smallest hoop/clamp possible. Increase pull compensation, Acti-feed on, min. set to at least 8.

Actually, I forgot to mention the request is for the wristbands, not the sweatbands! Anyway, thank you for your feedback. I will make note of it, if they do put their order in. Do you have a source that you got the wristbands from?

I'm sorry, I don't have a wholesale source for the wristbands. It was probably 4 years ago and I recently did a major cleaning so all old catalogs got tossed. Unless you're getting a lot, or need really high quality, a sporting goods store might work. It would definitely work for testing. Good luck.
