  • need help on outback hats and buckets

I am having a problem with 2 hat styles, which I need to have completed for Saturday. The bucket hat is probably going to fit into the XT WACF but the "outback" hat is a puzzler. Is it supposed to go into the WACF too? How about using a slimline? The design is 2.5" X 1.8". Also, when I did a normal cap in the frame, I got a rubbed line on the brim, even with it clamped down. Any suggestions there? It rubbed on the needle case as the design is fairly close (1/2") from the stitching between crown and brim (bill). Thanks.

I use masking tape on the front and back of the bills when sewing hats to keep the marks off of them..As far as your other hats I really can't help. There was a article in one of the trade magazines a while back about hooping those hats.Maybe it was imprints? they also had a write up abput it on their wdbsite.
