What is the best "hoop" to use when stitching on gloves? I have some fleece ones that my smallest hoop (4.68) will not work on. The customer wants a logo on the part that in on top of your hand. And does the logo face the body, so when you look at it it is correct, or does it face out, away from body so that others see it "correctly"? Hope that makes sense.

Hi Cindy, I have done knit gloves for my daughter and her figure skating friends. I used a fast frame for hooping and it worked out great. I chose the narrowest fast frame I had because the knit one-size-fits-all gloves are pretty small. I used a tear away backing that I stuck over a 'window' of self adhesive tear away backing that I had applied to the fast frame itself.

My daughter wanted the design to face the skater when the glove was worn. I don't know if that is 'right', but what the customer wants, the customer gets, even if it is your own daughter! LOL

      Hi Cindy,
I have done leather gloves for a riding group and I too used the narrowest fast frame. I also used the adhesive tearaway. After sewing I just covered the hole from the bottom with another small piece of the adhesive tearaway. We, however had the design facing away from the wearer, where others saw it correctly.
