How do I --- Complex Fill

I'm trying to set up a complex fill that looks like an underlayment. I want the final product to just look like the underlay with no complex fill over the top.

Any ideas?

Do the outline for the complex fill. After you're done, go to properties, take out all underlayment, and set the density for somewhere between 10 and 20, depending on how open you want it.

What about the trapunto feature. I would think it will work better.
