  • Question What Fonts To Use On Towels

    Hello All,

I am wondering if someone can give me some advice on what fonts are good to use on towels. I have a lot of customers that want embroidery done on towels and they usually what large letters of about 3" in height.

My concern is that some of the fonts in design shop that can go up to 3” are sometimes wide and have long stitches. If you wash the towel a lot I’ve notice the stitches come loose and don’t look good.

    Thanks

I dont do large letters on towels but I do alot of towels and I usually will you Monotype Corsiva for the font. You wouldn't want a font that was a thick font so look for the thinner column fonts and just practice what would look good.

    Good Luck!

What type of stabilizer are you using? Try using a Cutaway with water soluble on top of the towel. I do alot of towels and this method works for me no matter what size font I use. Just give it a try on a sample towel and see the difference.
