  • Getting the colors right

I have the unenviable task of changing the colors on many (read that as probably 100s) of pes, dst, hus, etc designs. I need to do this because I need the design to show correctly when my customer sees it on my computer as an ofm. (For my purposes it has to be in ofm.) I know I can go in and change every color and save it, but that is such a daunting task that I am very reluctant to even begin. Is there a simple and fast way to do this. I was looking at custom colors and custom palettes but I don't think using either will solve my problem. Any ideas. Because if I have to do it manually, I'll still be at it at Christmas time!

I also think they should open in the correct colors as they are in the catalog, it takes so much time to look at the picture and update the colors in properties so they aren't funky colors.
There has to be a way to make it rightupon opening. Thanks for asking this question Juli, now we have to hope for the answer we would like to hear.....
The designs are Dakota, Balboa and Great Notions for me.

Design from Dakota are now available in ofm. Can't tell you how wonderful that is!!! But the others - major work. I like the Emb Lib designs - a bit - well, a lot, stitch intensive, but I'd rather do one huge design than 3 smaller design on three different items of clothing.
