Roman Block CP

I am using this font at .25" and I am getting a million thread breaks with every test that I've done.
I am using a 65/9 BP on a woven shirt with a cutaway backing.
Please tell me what I have to do to stop getting all these thread breaks.

I am not in front of my machine now, but I use Roman Block CP a lot in my work. I think .25" is too small. To go that small your density should probably be about 5 or higher but I don't even know if it will sew cleanly at that small.

Thank you soooooo much for your help! I put the density at 5 and made all the adjustments that GF recommended and I only had 1 thread break. In addition to that it made the font look 100 times better. I understand the density points, but is it possible to explain all the other adjustments that you recommended? I want to know what made the font look more full and cleaner. Any info you can offer would be extremely appreciated. I know there are so many places to make adjustments, but I don't understand the software very much.

Try using the micro times or the mini micro times and use a 10% slant to give the same effect. Like Tom said, use a higher density and use a shorter stitch length, 17 or 20.

I used that same font 2 days ago at .25" and it sewed out horribly even after playing with density. I ended up modifying the design so .35" would work and it sewed out great.
Make sure you use underlay with it.

The response from GF did not post here. The only adjustment that I am not familiar with is changing the "X" "Y" to 2 pt.
I understand the "pull comp" percentages, but not the "X" "Y" change.

Can you explain what this does?

Try these settings:

Ltr Height: 0.25
Stitch Length: 18 pt
Choose "Closest Point"

Column Tab:
Density 4pt
Auto Density ON
Short Stitches ON

Column Width Adj/Pull Comp:

On the right side (not the percentage column):
X: 2pt
Y: 2pt

Minimum Width: 10 pt
