  • Perforation on Nylon Material

I'm appliqueing a rounded rectangle piece of ultra-suede cloth to a heavy
nylon fabric (like a tent) and I'm experiencing possible perforation. I say possible
because although it isn't "falling away" from the blank, if held to the
light, it doesn't look like much is holding it on. What can be done to avoid
this from happening? Presently, I'm using the slim-line with a mesh cutaway,
which after sewing is behaving like a tearaway.

Sounds like you are using single line but your density is giving you the look of satin stitch because your density is set at 5? Change the density to 15 so you get more like a zigzag to tack it down.
