I have a problem with getting the wording level on visors. I have no problem with hats; and hoop the visor the same way. Do I secure the bill like I do for hats. It seems to pull the center of the bill away from the stop.

I am using Amaya XT with the XT-WACF.

Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions.

I had a hard time getting things level.I started measuring the edge of the visor to the cap frame before I removed it from the jig.I don't guess it can pull to hard on the top of the visor like it can a hat!LOL

The only thing I can do to get text straight is 1: obviously, sew from center out, but 2: keep the sweatband folded as if it came out of the box. dont open it. it sews the design through the band and you have to adjust the material thickness accordingly but at least it looks straight. I usually dont offer themk and usually try to get Pacific to do them for me!~ )

I did my first visor job a few weeks ago. I did not use the cap frame. Instead I used my slimline clamp with adhesive backing. I stuck the visor down flat with the two sides and bill under the clamp and the top of the visor held down flat to the adhesive backing. In DesignShop I raised the letters on either side of the middle letter a little higher, stair stepping them just slightly on both sides. After a few tries I found the level each letter needed to be at to appear straight once sewed out on the visor. If you have the slimline frame I would suggest trying this as it worked for me!
