  • Bobbin thread showing?

Okay...all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I have bobbin thread showing on t-shirts that I am running.
The design is a simple outline (walk stitch) and I have a lot of bobbin thread showing for some reason.
Is there a fix? Presser foot height? Bobbin case tension? Anyone?
This a sizable run and I am in no mood to deal with a stitch out that does not impress me. I have so much on my plate, I just cannot think straight and I am sure the answer to my problem is a simple one!
So, if someone can jump in here and give me their two cents I would be ever so grateful!!!

    Thanks in advance....

I'd check your bobbin case...take the thread spool out and clean out the fuzz inside, expecially in the thread notch, run a business card under the steel tension bar on the outside, then doublecheck your 'case drop' rate to make sure it doesn't move until you 'jiggle' the case.
Also..seeing what happened to me over the weeekend, double check your auto setting in Amaya, make sure it is ON...mine had been clicked off and was on setting 8!

      LuAnn,

Some things immediately come to mind. Have you cleaned under the tension leaf on the bobbin case? How is the bobbin tension? Also, how long is the walk stitch? In OS, under Settings, Thread Feed, you can adjust the Run/fill speed. This will allow more top thread for each stitch that is sewn, without changing the stitch length. This should help in keeping the bobbin thread under the garment instead of coming to the top..
