Hello All,
Newbie here and have a sew out of a corporate logo on two items I could use some advice before I mess up the garments. One is a cotton interlock knit sweater and the other is a polyurethane coated nylon jacket lined with fleece.
For the sweater I thought I should use a 2oz cut away backing, or should I double up? Also, should I use Solvy as a topping? For garments of this type should I use satin or fill type stitches? Any advice on density, pull comp, etc.?
For the jacket, should I open a seam and hoop only the outer layer or hoop the outer and inner layer (the fleece is an 11oz weight). Also, is there anything I can do to maintain the waterproof nature of the garment after the sew out?
Thanks for the help!
And Happy New Year to all!
