Losing stiches, sewing towels

Losing stitches on towels. I think its either presser foot height or needle depth problem or ?

Whats the proper presser foot height?

Whats the proper needle depth setting/ how do I set that?

What else could be the problem ?

Are you using Solvy? I did a few towels for XMas gifts. Solvy is a must or the nap of the towel pokes through the stitches. Also make sure you are using an underlay in your design.
