Hello everyone, I have a quick question if anyone is around this morning. I have 10 fleece throws to embroider today. Can I hoop the fleece or not? The logo, after resizing is too big for the 5 x 4 fast frame. It does fit in the 8 inch hoop. I faintly remember embroidering/hooping fleece but it was not this kind. Thank you!

I find that embroidering fleece is so easy for me. One of the easiest fabrics to embroider. And the blankets come out beautifully!
If you are embroidering a large design on the corner of the blanket, I use the large rectangular wooden hoop. I think it's 11"x17". I use solvy on top and tear away stabalizer underneath.
You can pretty much use any hoop, depending on the size of the design.
As far as hooping, don't hoop too tightly as you will get hoopburn. I have sprayed the hoop burn after embroidering and it usually goes away. If it doesn't you can try steaming it. I have told my customers that the hoop mark will be gone after the first wash, as well.
Hope this helps! Mary Nason
Owner
Hunny\'s Boutique
New Durham, NH

hunnysboutique.com
