  • WARNING ribbons for flightline use

    Hey all,
Has anyone ever embroidered the warning ribbons for use on the flightline (the red ones hanging on the planes before they take off)? I am trying to find the ribbon/canvas material used and a supplier.

    Thanks!

Hi there. My husband used to fly. What I remember of them was about any fabric worked (anything stiff, like duck cloth). I have seen them screen printed, etc. The "Remove Before Flight" tags, yes? Ah, memories of when I used to make cockpit covers. ANYWAY, duck cloth, Sunbrella, etc., should work fine. You might want to check with King Aircraft. They do a lot of little stuff; might have these. If you can't find any, let me know. I can make the blanks for you.
