Best hoops for tiny items

Hi
I own a baby boutique, and will be embroidering all tiny items. I have the 3 inch hoop, but that is still too difficult in most situations, and on the delicate fabrics leaves terrible hoop burn. I am looking at Fast Frames or Slim Line. Any suggestions would really help me!

Sounds like a fast frames is what you need. There are more size choices and you don't have to worry as much about the fabric bulking up like in the clamping system.

I've been using a fast frame for quite a while and find them to be quite versatile and have never had a garment "fall" of while using them.

Nice to have the tearaway backing also. That will help you quite a bit. Don't forget to apply some soft iron on backing to protect the baby's skin.

And please remember this. Use the smallest hoop or frame possible for the job. The smaller the hoop, the better the sewout.

If you have an Amaya XT you can use the Micro Clamp that Melco sells, it works off of the cap frame and is made for doing small pockets.
