    Hi All!

I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on what kind of stabilizer I should use for infant clothing? I would say stitch count about 5K.
I have seen some clothes with an iron on type fabric that covers up the stitches so the stitches aren't scratchy on the infants. Does anyone do this as well?

    Thanks!

I use a nice quality Poly-Mesh. I buy it in rolls that tear off like paper towels and there are several sizes. There is also an iron-on very soft fabric (at Jo-Anns) you can iron on the back of your embroidery so the thread isn't abrasive to an infant's skin---sorry, I don't remember what the name of it is.

Use the no show mesh - fusible or non fusible version -1 layer or 2 layers cross patterned - depending on the stitch count and density and the weight and stretch of your material
we also make a product called Dream Weave Fusible which is soft sheer and drapable - just to cover the back of scratchy stitches
Pls feel free to email me off list for samples

      Sincerely
