Cap Side Embroidery

I need to embroider on the side of a cap that has a self-fabric closure with grommet and the grommet is making is difficult to hoop and embroider.
Anyone out there have the secret to embroidering on these caps? I am trying to use the slimline clamp and the WACF and not much luck with either.

We use Fast Frames to embroidery the side of cap most of the time....works very well....
