Happy Friday afternoon to all. I have another new problem. I have to replicate yet another lettering style for a customer. It is a simple block lettering with a small satin stitch border. The standard border block lettering is the correct shape for the letters but each letter is to narrow. ( read need more area of fill in between the satin border.) I tried using a different lettering style and adding the border option to it but it appears to have connecting stitches between the border areas on top of the column fill in the middle.
Any ides on how to either make the standard border block lettering increase in width w/o increasing in height? Or adding a border to another lettering font that will not show the inside of the "O" border connect with a stitch to the outside of the "O" border.
One last question, this lettering will be going on hats, so with bordered lettering what is the correct sequence to sew? Each letter complete one at a time? Or all of the fill lettering then the borders? Thank you.
