  • HELP!

I am trying to sew mesh visors. THe machine will sew 1-2 and then the needle jams down and throws the head off line and usually breaks the needle. Then if I restart everything I may be able to sew 1 or 2 and it jams down again! Any ideas how to fix this?

You might want to check to see how well centered your needleplate is in relation to your needles. Cycle the needle to head down and check to see where it falls in the hole in the needleplate. Ajust as necessary.

Are these visors thick material that would cause the needles to bend? Also, what speed are you sewing them at? You might want to slow things down to 600-800 spm and see how it goes.
