Mink Microfiber

I have a job to do on Mink Microfiber. But today someone said that it shouldn't be embroidered on. So now I don't know whether to proceed with it or not. I have two layers of Solvy on top and two layers on the bottom. I sprayed 505 on both sides. It is on the machine and ready to go. Seems pretty tight and might work. It's the "might" that has me worried.

Any thoughts on this?
