All this talk about leaving your machine stitching while you're having dinner, etc., made me decide that my "never leave her alone" policy was too strict. I got at least 30 minutes extra sewing time yesterday because I decided I could walk away.
I told my husband about this last night and he asked "Well, what's the worst that can happen, anyway?" So I came up with the hoop could separate while stitching.
Guess what happened this morning... that's right! Fortunately I was standing right next to the machine and could stop it before any damage was done.
Okay, so the lesson I learned from this is that 30 extra minutes of sewing time isn't worth the risk.
