Suede Leather Jacket

I have been sewing FOE Eagle Jackets with a large 8" eagle on Carhartt jacket backs, but now I have one that is suede leather and am not sure what density to sew the eagle or 1.5 inch lettering. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Unfortuantely I can't help but have a question regarding Carhartt jackets also. Can anyone tell me where to buy them wholesale?
