  • Microfiber jacket

Will be embroidering on a a men's microfiber jacket - any tips such as needles (sharp or bp?) and backing? It is expensive so I want to get it right the first time! Puckering seems to be my main enemy.
I usually practice anything new repeatedly on test fabric so I have to run to the fabric store to get some microfiber or something similar. ANy help is really appreciated!

I use 75/11 ball point needles (some people may say to use sharp though) If the jacket has an inner liner, you can use a light cutaway (less than 2.0oz.) or a tearaway backing. If there is no inner liner, use cutaway backing.
Puckering won't be so bad if the stitching doesn't go left and right. Angled is best for a lot of jackets. Proper underlay helps too.
