I was stitching and then needle and guard dropped. message came up saying - 43 - cluster1 - cluster invalid, master machine detached from system.
What does this mean??? and how do I fix it??

It means the computer is not seeing your Amaya.
Try
turning off the machine and the OS and restarting
and check your Network cable and where they are plugged in just to be sure.
Make a note of the stitch your on so you can get back there when you restart. -
This was in the middle of stitching a design? I got the needle back up then turned off machine and back on. Then it looked ok except the needle and the needle guard are not lighned up? I turned machine off and on again a few times unpluged machine and pluged it back in started it and it is aligned. havent tried it again BUT do wonder what caused this??Carole<br />embhoop.comComment

You are calling the Presser foot the Guard??
if so the cable "network" being loose can a power flux in the computer can.
You can avoid the Power problem with a UPS.
