I have had a problem with AOS 9 on Windows 7 since I replaced my computer about a year ago. The computer came with Win7 Home Premium. I installed AOS 9 for the first time when I set up that computer. The computer is used only for AOS to run the 3 Big Reds in the shop. It has two network boards: one for the machines and one for the shop network so that it can pick up the design files from the other computer. The problem is that over time (hours) it takes longer and longer (5 or more minutes) to load a design. It does not matter whether the design is from the local disk or the network. I can copy files to the machine using Windows Explorer with no delays. It seems to be the load function in AOS 9 that is not happy. When I close AOS and then open it again files load "normally" for a short time. Then the load time gets longer and longer and longer...
It recently occurred to me that there were instructions for configuring the network adapter that indicated only certain drivers that should be enabled in the properties tab. But, I am not able to find this information. Does anyone know what or where this is or if it is any concern in AOS 9?
