I have asked this before, and checked to be sure all the responses given 4 years ago were indeed done, but still have the same problem. I have one machine out of 4 that seems to have issues with properly tying off or perhaps it is the trim causing it, but it leaves a tiny tail and the stitches will pull out. Same design that the other machines are running with no issues like this. I've double and triple checked that the ties are in fact there, did the update to the ties/trims, re-selected "detect trimmer" using poly thread as always, checked needle positions, presser foot height, retaining finger, and so on. Would needle depth or timing play a factor in this? the tech did do something to the trimmer I know, I've tried different bobbin tensions, looser, tighter. We just had a tech here to go through the machine, and of course it performed the "test" design pretty nicely. Since the other machines are not having a problem doing the tie offs in the same designs, it appears it has to be a machine issue of sorts. We have the "tweener" red xt's from 2006. OS version 10, DS pro +. What things should I look at on the machine itself?
