No lockstitches

Hi I don't know what happened but all of a sudden my machine seems like it is not putting lockstitches at the end of each letter. I have done this design many times before and now after the job is done there's loose thread and bobbin at the end of each letter. I have lockstitch set to always and tried setting auto lock on. I'm using the first lockstitch setting.

Any clue what could be causing this issue?
