Someone in town has a 2004 Amaya with DesignShop Pro software for sale and I'm going to go and take a look at it. Being not familar with commercial embroidery machines, what should I be looking for? Is there somesort of extended warranty I can purchase myself from Melco? Also, being in the Orlando area...how far would the closest tech be from me? About this software, what is retail of the DesignShop Pro? In looking at the Amaya site, it appears to be the next down from the TOL being DesignShop Pro +. Of course, I will want to see any service records she might have, but what else do I need to look for?
Thanks for any help you can give me. I plan on being at the show in Orlando in Febr., but if this is a good deal, I'd hate to miss out. She has used it in her home, so it's not set up in a commercial shop.
