Melco Amya big red not cutting
I have an issue that popped up recently. I have had this machine for a little over a year and it only had 2 hours on it when I got it. sometimes it will not cut the thread when a cut should happen. any ideas what could cause this?

If you have an old Big Red that had only two hours on it, I would first ask if it had a motherboard replacement. My 100 million stitch XT is now "brand new" courtesy of a new motherboard.
A lot of things can cause improper cutting. A dull knife is the first that springs to mind. Push rods needing lubrication or being bent or out of time is another. A cutter that needles cleaning and oiling. Improper hooping tension. Wrong thread type. Bad timing. And other I am sure I am not listing.
