Clacking noise on some needles
Greeting all,
I have a strange problem on one of my Amaya XTs. It makes a clacking noise during sewing on 4 or 5 needles in the middle like 7-10. It happens no matter what I'm sewing and regardless of pressure foot height. No sure where I need to look or what to do to re-calibrate those needles to remove the clacking sound. It is pretty obnoxious and loud. Any suggestions? I did go to head timing menu and check the bottom center Z position numbers all pretty close to each other, with needle 1 179.7 and needles 7-11 at 180.0 - 180.1 also looked at the needle depth and nothing appears wrong, with the naked eye of course.
Any suggestions on what to look at next or where to go in the tech manual? Any help most appreciated. It does not affect sewing quality, just noisy.
