    possible timing issue??

I have 1 machine that keeps trimming the thread too short. the the take up lever pops up pulling the thread out of the needle.

Is there a easy fix for this?
should I just try and get my tech in to repair?

    thank you

Have you checked the tail trim length setting?

Check you presser foot height. It could be too low for your job.

Iíve had this problem a lot recently on some flex fit hats. My presser foot is all the way down and 2 clicks up.

Iíve think Iíve tried every tip on this forum for flex fit hats. Ready to cut my losses and tell them I canít do them.

So the problem is only flex fit caps? I did 40 the other day on our machines using the conventional cap frame. Hoop them tight. Use your hand to smooth the front down. Presser football the way down or one click up.
