Satin stitch around complex fill

How do I? I have a design already digitized with a walk stitch around the complex fill. Can I change the walk stitch to a satin stitch or can I somehow somewhat automatically create a satin stitch around the complex fill and delete the walk stitch? BTW I use Version 9 Pro+.

I use V 7, so it might not e the same...

in the project tree, I'd find what I want to change,

RIGHT click on it

select CHANGE ELEMENT PROPERTIES

It should allow you to change the walk to a column...would that work?

If so, click in the radio button next to column, then click on REPLACE.

If you click on ADD you'll have the column in addition to the walk.
