Save thread colors

I have a large design that I digitized originally in V6, but have since loaded it into V9 and made several changes. When I save the file, close out and reopen it, some of the thread colors change to completely different colors. As far as I know, all of the other changes I made saved. Is this an issue anyone else has had and is it a V9 issue? I haven't had time to take the training on this version yet. Is it something I'm doing?

That is one of the problems they have with the first release of the v9 software. I just got the new beta version and it appears to be fixed. I know that doesn't help you now and I was very frustrated with it. A work around is to save the file as an .exp so when you open it in AOS you don't have 30 colors when you are expecting 4.

I hope I'm not showing my ignorance, but can you make changes in .exp files? Thanks for your reply.

If you save a file in exp format, the colors will not be saved.
