When I stitch this a.m., there is a noise when it trims, not sure how to describe it. It's not loud, just kinda a clicking type sound. I have heard it before when my trimmer is off of the "hook" but when I looked, all looks fine in that area. The bottom blade is sticking out, under the one that looks like a "V", tho'. I've not noticed that before...does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to hurt anything while running my machine...thanks!

    Cindy,
The blade that looks like a "\/" as you described it is the knife. The other one is the selector. It should protrude out from under the knife...

With the needleplate off...go into Maintenance, Steppers and in the "Selector" column, left click on "out" and then "in". Watch the Selector to see if it is moving in and out with the commands.

Lubricate the area so that the knife and selector slide freely and see if that helps.
