I am interested in the wood frames. Are the small round frames with short or long arms?

Export your cut file as an eps (make sure you have converted to curves). Insert the file in DS (you may need to show graphic files). Then convert. Hope this helps.

Have you tried Home Depot/Lowes or a local plastics shop?

When you go to needle 1, will the machine try to go one needle more (to the right). Perhaps the machine thinks it's at needle 16 when it's on 15. I'm pretty sure the color change indicator system is...

I'm running OS 7 and I frequently run files over 150k [letterman's jackets]. I've had to divide a couple of files that had stitch counts upwards of 200k. It could be the later system has reduced the...

Is this happening on every needle or just one? If only one, I would change needles.

I bought my second machine from www.equip-used.com. They have an EMT for sale.

I have a customer who runs a Veteran's Golf Program; he is looking for Golf Shorts so a bit more room than industrial work shorts. Any clues? I've checked Sanmar and AugustSportswear. No elastic...

John,
Are you referring to Kevin? He's been my tech from the beginning (2002) with the exception of a few years when Melco stole him and he moved to Denver. I don't think there's anything he can't...

For almost all 100% poly garments I hoop with 1 piece of 2oz cutaway on the back and on top of the shirt, I put a single lightweight tear-away that has the stitching area cut out. After putting it on...

I have an Anajet. I don't do a lot throughout the year but quite a bit each spring. In fact I'm getting ready to ramp up. I do senior t-shirts for some local schools. I have used the white ink but it...

A good place to start is to look at a well digitized design. Watch it stitch out. There are some youtube videos but I don't know how good they are. You can also take classes at some of the trade...

Hey Juli,
Maybe we can get a room together. I'd like to stay close to the convention center and go all 3 days. I've looked at the offerings for the first show of the year in Ft. Lauderdale and...

Juli, What adhesive are you using? Are you applying then laser cutting?

I own an older Anajet. I don't use white ink- just not worth the hassle. I mainly use it spring and summer. You can do full color with transfers (I use F&M Expressions for my dark shirts). You might...

Had you used the emergency button just prior to this? Sometimes, that will cause the machine to be confused and advance the hoop incorrectly. Always watch your design after using the emergency stop....

Not quite sure what you're asking but you could save the file two different ways one with the isacord thread colors and the second with madeira colors just tag the end of the file name with a code...

Double check and make sure the box is checked for the bobbin sensor (Settings, machine tab).

In addition to embroidery, I offer DTG, vinyl cutting (both garment & sign), rotary engraving, dye sublimation (get transfers), screenprinting (transfers) and my newest addition, laser...

Unless you really want to go to Vegas, you can go to the NBM show in Long Beach in July. Big Show and it covers a lot of different areas. I've missed the last 2 years and will be going for sure this...

Juli is right, no one wants to screenprint only 24 caps with 3 colors or it would be off the top expensive. There is another solution to consider: printed vinyl. Full color and more cost effective...

I do a lot of jacket backs (200+) a year, mostly letterman's jackets. I am the sub for a local jacket retailer (mostly Holloway) so I have contract pricing and regular retail pricing. My contract...

For items such as this (including 100% poly shirts), I use a piece of tear away backing on the front of the shirt with the center cut out to allow for the embroidery. It helps keep the fabric stable...
