Mama Kass, are you looking for the sash hoop that takes the special arms, or the large 16.8 inch square hoop? It almost sounds like you are referencing the 17 wide and 11 inch tall hoop as the one...
-
Is there a tag on there to trace back to the manufacturer? If so, you can contact them to ask who their wholesalers are, or if you can purchase directly from them.

I have had one machine for 14 years that never did it. I got an almost new second machine that did it immediately. It stopped doing them when I changed out the knife. Weird, but true!
-
I invested the small fortune for the wooden one and the arms...and I found there is only about an extra inch sewing room from the 16.8 square hoop, regardless of the size of the hoop itself. I sold...

Hi there, and welcome.
The knife could be dull.
The stabilization could be loose.
The thread trim in Amaya OS could be set to short instead of medium or long.
The thread could be too...

I second what John says, and I go one further -- I go to needle down to check centering.

I use the needle through the needle eye trick.
Get a hand sewing needle -- the thinnest you can find. Stick the eye of that needle into a pencil eraser.
When setting needles, put the tip of...

For hats at least a 12 sharp (not a ball point).

If you only use your 4" (12cm) fixture on a shirt board, I'd like to buy your freestyle arm from you. Thanks!

When I use Mighty Hoops, I always have to use a jig, or something to hold the bottom hoop in place, The magnets draw themselves together, even when you are not ready for them to. Also, I have to...

I don't do enough hats that I will ever do them on two machines at once. One spare cap gauge. $125 plus actual shipping.

When weird things happen I always start at bobbin, and tension in the hoop.
A different bobbin or bobbin case may help;
Adding a layer of backing (even water soluble, but most likely a tear away)...

A water soluable topping to hold it down while you embroider on it works wonders.

Does anyone know who this might be?

These fit an XT. They have never been used.
$320 each individually; take both for $600 (which includes shipping).

I am getting to where I do a lot of the smaller designs on smaller clothing. If you have one that is routered out for cap backs, all the better.

Call Lonnie. I don't believe version ten requires dongles...

As long as you don't use water or anything wet, the solvy won't dissolve and stick.
OR
You can test on a scrap of similar fabric. There is a lot of washable velvet out there. It may not be an...

This is kind of a strange question --
I have a cutter blade that keeps popping off the the push rod.
I am waiting to be scheduled for a preventive maintenance for awhile now... so long I have...

I use the same CCF's with my XT as I did with my Big Red. I say this because I have an extra cap gauge that works with the older drivers. If you'd like to purchase it, please let me know.

You can email me at onleejudy@aol.com. Thanks.

Jean -- if you don't hear back from Lucky Guy, I am interested in your HoopTech gauge and frames, and the Organ needles. Lucky Guy first though.

Question for Lucky Guy: Can a new cap driver (the red one) be used with an original Melco Amaya Big Red? I thought drivers were geared to the machines they were made for. Then again...my only up...
